Terms and conditions

Entry available to UK residents aged 18 years or over, who have purchased a SEIKO watch from H Samuel UK high street stores (excludes H Samuel website) between 04/09/11 & 29/10/11 inclusive, excluding employees of Seiko U.K. Limited and Signet Trading Limited, their families or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.

All entries must be completed on the official entry form (within this leaflet) and accompanied by valid proof of purchase. Valid proof of purchase is a photocopy of a till receipt for a SEIKO watch purchased between 04/09/11 & 29/10/11. Please do not send in original copy of receipt as it will not be returned and it should be retained by you for product warranty purposes. Photocopied entry tickets will not be accepted.

Entries should be sent to the following address: SEIKO Competition, c/o Flostream Ltd, Springheath House, Kelpatrick Road, Slough, SL1 6BW.

Entries must be received by 17.00 on 18/11/11. A panel of independent judges will judge the competition including the most original tie-breakers for both the Top Prize and also the five runner’s up prizes on 21/11/11. Winners will be notified by phone and/or letter within 28 days.

There is one Top Prize to be won of a two night weekend break to Barcelona. The Top Prize comprises of: i) two nights bed and breakfast accommodation for two people sharing a twin or double room at the 4 star Condes de Barcelona hotel, ii) return Business Class flights from London Heathrow, iii) return private transfer from arrival airport to hotel, iv) two tickets for the FC Barcelona stadium tour and museum v) two tickets to see Barcelona play at the Nou Camp (subject to match schedule), vii) two tickets for the Barcelona Hop On/Hop Off city bus tour, viii) €250 spending money.

The Top Prize is subject to availability and may not be taken on certain dates to be notified to the Winner by the Promoter. Winners must give at least two months’ notice of chosen travel dates. The Promoter will attempt in good faith to provide the Top Prize at a time convenient to the Winner but accepts no liability where it fails to do so. All travel and holiday prizes must be taken between January 2012 and July 2012.

Winners may choose to fly from a regional airport but a Business Class service is subject to availability. The airline will be chosen at the discretion of the Promoter. Winners will need to make their own arrangements for travel to/from their chosen UK airport.

Winner accepts that Barcelona may not be playing a home match during the chosen weekend and that no alternative will be available.

The holiday is redeemable only by the named winner and must not be sold onto any other party. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

Winners are responsible for all necessary visas and passports. Information supplied for booking prizes/flights must match passport information. Changes to names, travel dates & accommodation will be subject to change fees as charged by the suppliers.

Holiday insurance will be at the entire responsibility of the Winner, as will information pertaining to any relevant vaccinations or health care during the prize holiday. The Promoter will not be liable for any injury, delays or loss of luggage or personal effects or any illnesses befalling the winner or their companion during the above holiday.

All optional flight/board/accommodation supplements and insurance are extra and must be paid for by the winner at the time of booking for all the travelling party.

Participants acknowledge that the Winner may be required to present a credit card upon check-in at any accommodation for the purposes of a guarantee for any incidentals, room service and other charges incurred by the Winner or their guest which are not included in the Grand Prize for which the Winner will be solely liable.

The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value, in its sole discretion. Prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable supplier and/or operator where relevant. Prizes must be accepted “as is” or declined.

Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the Promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof.

The prize winner will need to respond within 4 weeks of notification as to whether they are able to accept the prize. If a selected entrant does not meet all of the contract conditions, another entrant will be selected from the remaining list of eligible entries.

There are five runners up prizes of a SEIKO Sportura Alarm Chronograph (SNAE67P1). No alternative runner’s up prizes will be made available.

Applications lost, damaged or delayed in transit, incomplete, illegible or sent through a third party will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of despatch will not be accepted as proof of receipt.

The winners of the main prize may be required to participate in publicity associated with the competition.

Personal data given on entry forms will only be used for administering the competition and will not be added to any mailing list or passed onto third parties. Participants’ personal data will only be held for the purposes set out in these Conditions, including (without limitation) communicating with Participants and for the dispatch and delivery of any Prize to the Participant where applicable.

A full list of winners’ names and counties can be obtained by sending a stamped s.a.e. to the above address to arrive within 28 days of the judging date.

The judge’s decision is final & no correspondence will be entered into. It is a condition on entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules.
