Lorus and The Blades
The Lorus watch brand has entered into an agreement with The Blades aerobatic display team under which Lorus becomes The Blades watch partner for the next two years. The agreement brings together a watch brand known internationally for its quality, durability and precision and one of the world best aerobatic display teams.

Formed in 2006, the Blades is the UKs only full-time civilian formation aerobatic display team and the world only globally accredited aerobatic airline. With four high performance aircraft and a team of six ex-Red Arrows pilots, The Blades has developed a reputation for very dramatic, exciting and innovative aerobatic displays. The Blades team has performed all over the world at leading air shows and many high-profile events.
A partnership of experience
The Blades Display pilots are all ex-Royal Air Force pilots with thousands of hours flying experience in both military and civilian contexts. In addition, all served in the RAF elite Red Arrows team before joining The Blades. Similarly, Lorus is a brand supported by one of the world leading watch companies, Seiko Watch Corporation, whose 130 years of history and whose global network of support companies make Lorus a truly dependable and trusted brand.
A partnership of excitement
To see The Blades team flying in tight formation, often as little as two metres apart, at speeds in excess of 400 kilometres an hour is a truly thrilling experience. And to fly in the aircraft with the team offers unforgettable excitement!
In a very different way, Lorus too, seeks to offer excitement to the watch lover. Every Lorus watch is designed to bring a smile to the face of the consumer, both when he or she first sees it and once it has delivered years of accurate service on the wrist. Lorus believes that a watch should be a thrill to see, to wear and to show.
The watch collection
Central to the partnership between The Blades and Lorus is the creation of a series of watches that express the shared values of both parties. The 2010 Lorus collection includes watches with an aviation theme which deliver the precision and reliability that The Blades require. But this is just the beginning. The Blades pilots and the Lorus design team are already working together on the creation of a new collection of watches that are designed to their specifications and which will fulfil the precise requirements of the team, both on the ground and when performing in the air.
Support
The guarantee period is 2 years from the date of purchase. Within this period regulation, adjustment, repair or replacement parts of movement will be performed without charge except in case of damage caused by accidents or lack of care.
The guarantee covers defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover the glass crystal, bracelet, strap, attachments or battery. It does not cover water damage when it is not clearly stated on the case back as 'water resistant'. It does not cover scratches on the case caused by use. Unauthorised repairs are not covered.
